His exceptional performance in one of India’s most challenging examinations highlights his profound understanding of forestry, environmental conservation, and wildlife protection. As a lead mentor, Apoorv brings to the table a rich reservoir of knowledge, practical insights, and a strategic approach to navigating the complexities of the IFS examination and the broader field of forest service. Through his guidance, Apoorv seeks to inspire and prepare the next generation of forest service professionals to tackle the pressing environmental challenges of our times with expertise, passion, and innovative solutions.
Mayank Malviya
Co-founder Planet Geology
He is a graduate of IIT Roorkee. Mayank sir has worked as a Geologist in the mining sector. He has scored over 130 marks in UPSC Prelims General Studies multiple times. He has also appeared in IFS and CSE interviews thrice. Having scored in excess of 60% marks in IFS Geology and Forestry optionals multiple times, Mayank sir understands what it takes to ace the optional exam. In the Geology & Geophysics GATE exam, he has secured an All India Rank of 90.
Lawrence Kanyan
Co-founder Planet Geology
Lawrence is a Geology graduate from IIT Roorkee. He has several years of teaching experience in Geology and General Studies. He has previously worked for Shell and ONGC as a geologist and at The University of Texas at Austin as a research assistant. He has also worked in Calgary, Canada as a Machine Learning Developer. Lawrence secured All India Rank 1 in GATE Geology exam 2017. He has experience of performing exceptionally in many competitive exams such as IIT-JEE, NEET, AFMC, GMAT (780/800) and GRE (330/340). He has also published research papers in International Journals and Conference Proceedings.
